Fire Equipment Maintenance Group (FEMG): Protecting South Australia Since 2000

Locally owned and operated, FEMG was established in Port Augusta to fill a critical need for professional fire protection services in regional South Australia.

Our Story:
Founded by Darren McNamee, Ramon Kruger, Garry Gliddon, and Wade Kammermann, we started with four vans and a commitment to community safety. Today, we boast a fleet of 16 vehicles and a team of over 14 technicians serving clients across the state.

We provide comprehensive fire and safety solutions:

  • Fire Equipment: Supply, installation, and servicing of all fire safety equipment to meet Australian Standards.

  • Test & Tag: Portable appliance testing for all electrical items by qualified technicians.

  • First Aid Kits: Supply and servicing of first aid supplies, including defibrillators.

  • Training: Practical training on how to use fire extinguishers and blankets.
