Tracey began her career in Port Augusta’s tourism sector before spending 20 years in Adelaide across government and technology roles. She returned home in 2020 and now runs Savvy Pixels (IT solutions) and leads Career Choice Resumes, continuing her mother Eifron’s legacy in professional career development.

Shane Packard
DEPUTY CHAIRPERSONDeputy Chair since 2024, Shane Packard has played a key role in supporting Port Augusta’s business community through tough times like COVID-19. He focuses on practical strategies to both support existing businesses and actively attract new investment to the town – recognising that economic growth creates opportunities for all enterprises—including his own.

Shane started out in the trades before moving into radio advertising with 5AU, where he built strong skills in branding and sales. In 2001, he co-founded Crossroads Concepts, an award-winning signwriting business that reflects his hands-on approach and strong local connections.
Virginia Lloyd
TREASURERVirginia joined the Board of Business Port Augusta in 2019 and has been in the Chairperson role since 2021. Virginia has a passionate interest in Port Augusta and Port Augusta Businesses and supporting them to be successful.
Virginia is currently employed by Max Services and has over 25 years’ experience in the transport and logistic and manufacturing sectors with a strong background in Administration, HR, IR, Commercial and Finance, Process Improvement, Business System development and deployment, Safety and Lean transformations. She grew up in Port Augusta and raised her family here.

Ruby is the Owner and Director of Tickle Belly Hill, a popular café and function centre just outside Port Augusta. Since acquiring the business in late 2022, she has grown it to employ over eight local staff and host a variety of community events. With a background in tourism and hospitality, Ruby brings valuable experience in sales, management, and customer service.
Craig Shirley

As Far North Community Engagement Coordinator at Uni Hub Spencer Gulf, he works to connect regional communities with education and employment pathways that keep skilled people in Port Augusta.
